The Otago exercise program is a fall-prevention exercise program for the elderly. It was designed to prevent falls by strengthening muscles and improving balance in older adults.
- Year-long program beginning 6/21/23
- Participants meet 1-2 times per month with a therapist and conduct home exercises 5 times a week
- Meetings will be held both at Peninsula Senior Center and online at your home
- Participants: must be 65 an older, a resident of Pacific County, and score a 1 or 2 on the combined assessments
