The LPN will be responsible for the care of a specific group of patients on a shift. The LPN works under the supervision and direction of an RN meeting the needs of the patient and family. The LPN will be required to take direction from multiple individuals, including but not limited to: charge nurse, nurse manager, and other nursing staff. The ability to be flexible, self motivated and multi-task between patients and handle the re-direction of tasks and responsibilities at any given time will be an important part of this position. The ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients in a friendly, caring and professional manner is a high priority. Accurate vital signs including weights, I’s and O’s are a must, some phlebotomy required, and must write legibly.
