Ocean Beach Hospital Foundation is dedicated to improving the health of the citizens of South Pacific County.  A 501 (c) (3) organization, the foundation receives charitable contributions on behalf of the hospital. Through its partnership with the hospital and the community, OBH Foundation raises money to support community education, technology, equipment and facility upgrades, and to implement innovative healthcare programs that benefit the citizens of South Pacific County.

Donations to the foundation are tax deductible.  Our Tax ID number is 41-2122776.

The foundation’s fundraising efforts include two signature events.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

In September, the OBH Foundation hosts an 18-hole golf scramble. The 2011 tournament was Friday, Sept. 23 at Peninsula Golf Course in Long Beach, WA. The event included great raffle prizes, promotional gift bags and an awards banquet with a delicious catered meal. New for this year’s event was a Putting Contest with a NASCAR Driving Experience grand prize and a Hole-in-One Contest with a Harley Davidson Motorcycle grand prize. The foundation thanks its many sponsors for their support and especially BANK OF THE PACIFIC, and OGDEN/MURPHY/WALLACE, the Premier Tournament Sponsors in 2011.

CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS

The 2011 Celebration of Lights – a silent and live holiday auction – will be at the Artisan in Ilwaco, December 2.   The Finnish-American Choir of Naselle will provide the evening’s musical entertainment and local favorite, Mike Williams, will be the auctioneer.  This delightful evening features hors d’oeuves, spiced cider, wine, festive live music, and an exceptional assortment of art, jewelry, lodging and food gifts, toys, trips, Christmas wreaths and trees.  For many, the celebration marks the start of the holiday season and serves as the perfect venue for holiday gift shopping.
